About
Hi, I’m Jenna.
I’m a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My heartfelt mission is to help others overcome life’s challenges and foster well-being.
I use an emotionally focused and person-centered communication style, creating a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and understood.

My philosophy
Throughout my career I’ve worked in diverse settings, supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and substance use. That range taught me one thing above all: healing happens in relationship, at a pace that honors your nervous system.
I integrate EMDR, somatic awareness, emotional parts work, and breathwork, because lasting change isn’t only about insight, it’s about helping your body learn that it’s safe now. We never rush. We build safety first, then gently approach what’s been hard to hold alone.
I’m also deeply committed to advocacy and social justice. I work to recognize and address the systemic issues that affect marginalized individuals and communities, because your context matters, and you deserve a therapist who sees the whole picture.
Approaches I draw from
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
- EMDR Intensives
- Trauma-Focused Therapy
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) / Parts Work
- Somatic-Focused & Body-Based Integration
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Mindfulness & Breathwork
- Emotionally Focused & Person-Centered
- Gottman Method (Couples)
My approach to diagnosis
When appropriate, mental health diagnoses can help guide treatment, facilitate insurance reimbursement, and improve communication among healthcare providers. However, I believe that no diagnosis fully captures the complexity of who you are.
I use diagnosis thoughtfully and collaboratively, recognizing that symptoms often develop within the context of life experiences, relationships, stress, trauma, and systemic influences. My focus remains on understanding your whole story, not simply assigning a label.
Trauma-informed, culturally responsive & affirming care
I strive to create a therapeutic environment where every client feels respected, emotionally safe, and valued. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed principles that emphasize collaboration, transparency, choice, empowerment, and cultural humility.
I recognize that our identities, relationships, cultures, and communities influence how we experience both hardship and healing. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to providing care that is inclusive, affirming, and responsive to each person’s unique experiences and strengths.
