Trauma-Informed Therapy: Online Across HI, VA & FL

Trauma isn’t just what happened, it’s what your body and nervous system learned in order to survive. Trauma-informed therapy honors those adaptations while gently helping you feel safe, present, and connected again.

Safety and stabilization first

Healing trauma is not about forcing yourself to relive it. We begin by building regulation and resources, the felt sense of safety in your own body, before approaching the harder material. You stay in control of the pace at every step.

A blend that meets the whole you

Jenna integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, and breathwork. Rather than a one-size protocol, your care is shaped around how your particular nervous system protects and recovers.

Advocacy-informed and culturally aware

Jenna is committed to social justice and to naming the systemic and intergenerational forces that shape trauma for marginalized communities. Your context is part of the work, not separate from it.

Common questions

What’s the difference between PTSD and complex trauma?
PTSD often follows a discrete event, while complex (C-PTSD) trauma grows from prolonged or repeated experiences, frequently in childhood. Both are treatable; complex trauma usually calls for a longer, relationship-centered approach.
Do I need a diagnosis to start?
No. You don’t need a label or a “big enough” reason. If something from your past is affecting your present, that’s reason enough to begin.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

Reaching out is the first, hardest step. When you’re ready, you can request an intake appointment and we’ll take it from there.
