LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy: Online & Genuinely Safe

Affirming therapy means you don’t have to explain or defend who you are before the real work can begin. As a queer- and trans-allied therapist who uses they/them pronouns, Jenna offers a space where your identity is understood as a strength, not a symptom.

Affirming from the first session

There’s no education tax here, you won’t have to teach your therapist your language or justify your existence. Jenna centers your lived experience and meets you with informed, allied care for the full LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

Naming minority stress

The exhaustion, hypervigilance, and self-doubt many queer and trans people carry aren’t personal failings, they’re responses to a world that hasn’t always been safe. We name those forces directly and work to loosen their hold on your nervous system.

Trauma-informed and intersectional

Identity-based trauma is real. Using EMDR, parts work, and somatic approaches, and always attending to the intersections of race, culture, neurodivergence, and faith, we tend to those wounds with care and without judgment.

Common questions

Is this space affirming for trans and nonbinary clients?
Yes. Jenna is transgender- and nonbinary-allied, uses they/them pronouns, and provides gender-affirming support. Your pronouns and identity are respected from the very first contact.
Can we focus on something other than my identity?
Absolutely. Being affirming means your identity is never treated as the problem. We focus on whatever you came in for, anxiety, trauma, relationships, within a space that already gets you.
