LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy in Hawaiʻi

Hawaiʻi is the heart of my practice. Based in Honolulu, I offer trauma-informed, EMDR, neurodivergent- and LGBTQIA+-affirming online therapy to adults and couples across all of Hawaiʻi, Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and the Big Island. Island life carries its own joys and pressures, and therapy meets you wherever you are in the Pacific.

Affirming therapy means you don’t have to explain or defend who you are before the real work can begin. As a queer- and trans-allied therapist who uses they/them pronouns, Jenna offers a space where your identity is understood as a strength, not a symptom.

Licensed to serve Hawaiʻi

Jenna is licensed in Hawaii as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (license LCSW-5334-0), providing lgbtqia+ affirming therapy via secure telehealth to clients across the state.

Affirming from the first session

There’s no education tax here, you won’t have to teach your therapist your language or justify your existence. Jenna centers your lived experience and meets you with informed, allied care for the full LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

Naming minority stress

The exhaustion, hypervigilance, and self-doubt many queer and trans people carry aren’t personal failings, they’re responses to a world that hasn’t always been safe. We name those forces directly and work to loosen their hold on your nervous system.

Trauma-informed and intersectional

Identity-based trauma is real. Using EMDR, parts work, and somatic approaches, and always attending to the intersections of race, culture, neurodivergence, and faith, we tend to those wounds with care and without judgment.
